Learning About Perimeter

                                              Learning abut perimeters.

Today our class went out to the onto the court's to learn about perimeters.We learned how to work out perimeters of a rectangle and a square.We also learnt how to use stage 4, stage 5, and stage 6, strategies.The best part was working out the perimeter and using the chalk and doing our maths out side instead of doing it in our maths book.

My Maths Goal

Today I did a Maths test with Mrs Manuyag. I learned:

• I am just below the right stage for adding and subtraction.
• I am just below in my times tables.
• I am just below in my fractions.

My goal is now going to be to focus on being at school everyday so I can get higher and get to stage 5. 

My Goal for Term 2

My name is Lyric and I am making a decision to help my learning for this term.

My goal is to be at school EVERY DAY! I know that I need to focus on this goal because my learning is behind my friends and I want to move up. I know that Charlotte, Mrs Manuyag and Mrs Fepuleai can help me move up if I am at school. 

I am going to keep a record of how often I am at school so I can prove that I have achieved my goal!
